Our clinic staff has a wealth of experience and specialty training to offer you a comprehensive treatment in a professional atmosphere. Our therapists offer 45-60 minute one on one therapy sessions, where you will have our undivided attention and receive the complete individual care you deserve. We have several specialty programs and areas of expertise that are available, and are continually adding new services to meet the needs of the community.
Our physical therapy staff offers you a variety of experience, backgrounds, and special education and certifications that are sure to meet your needs. We have on staffed one of the few NDT certified therapists in the area. NDT is a specific type of therapy which can address neurologicalimpairments such as stroke and balance deficits. She brings 25 years of experience with her NDT certification. Two other physical therapists bring also over 25 years of experience treating orthopedic conditions, one who specifically deals with pain and pain syndromes, with extensive studies in back and neck pain. The other has extensive orthopedic experience in an outpatient setting. Our newest addition to the staff gained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Augustine University, and has received extensive training and education in manual therapy, including mobilization of the spine and extremities. Further physical therapy staff bring years of experience with orthopedic surgery rehab such as total hip and total knee replacements
Our speech therapist brings 15 years of experience in dealing with patients, from pediatrics through geriatric populations. Areas covered under speech therapy for adults include cognitive/memory declines, aphasia, dysarthria and dysphasia. For our pediatric clients, we address language articulation and fluency disorders. A new addition recently to Twin Cities Hospital is a state of the art fluoroscopy chair, which enables the speech therapist to perform a comprehensive swallow study called a Modified Barium Swallow Study. This study can help form treatment plans and identify potentially life threatening disorders related to the swallow mechanism.
Our office staff includes employees with many years of experience in the health care field. The staff is extremely courteous and professional, and willing to help you with scheduling needs and any questions regarding insurance issues.
We are constantly looking to add services to our outpatient clinic to address the needs of our client population. Beside having a variety of equipment and tools to utilize in the treatment of our patients, new services we are looking to add in the future are aquatic therapy, lymphedema therapy and the use of vital-stim by our speech therapist.
Overall, we feel we offer a very comprehensive treatment plan of care with a variety of experienced staff members in a dynamic setting. We hope we can be of service to you or a family member in the future. Please feel free to call with any questions or inquires, and we will be pleased to help you in any way with your therapy needs.
