VIP Hospital Benefits
If a private room is available, an h2u member can be upgraded at no additional charge. The patient's caregiver is entitled to one free meal per day while the member is a patient in the hospital. These benefits are available to Twin Cities Hospital affiliated h2u members at Twin Cities Hospital as well as Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
Discounted Annual Lab Tests
The Complete Metabolic Profile and the Complete Blood Count are free for the first time to new members and are available annually thereafter at a discounted cost of $12.00. These tests check the function of the heart, liver and kidneys and give statistics regarding red and white blood cells. The Lipid Profile, giving triglycerides, good and bad cholesterol and the heart ratio, is available at a discounted price of $8.00. PSA checking for prostate cancer is available for men at a cost of $15.00.
Free Physician Screenings
Free foot, dental, hearing, vision, and diabetic screenings are available to h2u members at participating doctors’ offices.
h2u Health Map
New online tools give personal assessment of one’s health, based on history, lifestyle and exams, recommended screenings, 28 health calculators and quizzes. Online personal health record for tracking results of screenings, exams, medications, allergies, immunizations, and family history.
As an h2u member you will receive a discount in our cafeteria. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am–9:00 am and lunch is served from 11:00 am–1:00 pm. Coffee is complimentary at any hour. All members will receive a card during their birthday month that entitles them to one complimentary lunch in the Twin Cities Hospital cafeteria as our gift to you.

Varied fitness programs are offered several times each week to help the 50+ generation stay active and healthy. Low impact conditioning, Tai Chi, Yoga, line dancing, and bowling are just a few of the opportunities.
Educations Seminars & Social Activities
Lectures are offered by healthcare providers, attorneys, financial advisors, and other subjects of interest. There are many social opportunities available for making new friends and keep up with old ones. Potluck and Dutch treat luncheons, as well as Bunco and Bingo are held on a regular basis.
Local & National Publications
The health2you update is published on a monthly basis and is filled with articles and calendar events about your health and well-being. The health2you magazine is published quarterly from the corporate office. These publications are mailed directly to your home free as a benefit of your membership.
Insurance Claims Filing
Assistance in filing your insurance claims is available through a trained SHINE volunteer. Please call 729-9463 to arrange an appointment.
Medical Alert Units
The ADT medical alert unit is available to our members. The peace of mind offered is well worth the low monthly rental fee.
