Patriot Awards Kenzie, Whalen, Dawkins

Niceville, FL —David Whalen, CEO, and Danny Cain, Emergency Room Director, were presented Patriot Awards by Chief Petty Officer Phyllis Evans of US Coast Guard Sector Mobile, Alabama and Mr. Terry Dawkins, ESGR Volunteer. The Employer Support of Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award is nominated by military reservists who recognize employers with outstanding support of military duties. In their leadership roles at Twin Cities Hospital, Mr. Cain and Mr. Whalen, who are both prior military, have shown support above and beyond that required by law.

In the highest American tradition, the patriotic men and women of the Guard and Reserve serve voluntarily in an honorable and vital profession. They train to respond to their country in time of need and deserve the support of every segment of our society.

Twin Cities Hospital recognizes and honors the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). Ensuring our managers and supervisors have the tools they need to effectively manage employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve is of utmost importance. We appreciate the values and unique skills these service members bring to the workforce and welcome opportunities to employ Guardsmen, Reservists, and Veterans.
